hello

Ran ManagePro tonight and got the message to update to the next build (754 I think).  Ran it twice but it bombed both times at:

red_bend download\Prod_4122CABC_8c48s1.vcd

with the error

I/O error on the file Input/Output error.  Installation will now terminate.

thought you guys should know.

jeff

Hi Jeff,

The most common reason the updater doesn't work correctly is realated to local PC access rights. For ManagePro to update correctly, you must have administrator rights to the PC you are updating.

Other problems are most often centered on the following:

1. Pop-Up Block Software - Temporary disable while performing the install

2. Spyware Detection Software  - Temporary disable while performing the install

3. Corporate security policy settings that do not allow users to add/remove/update Windows registry or system32 settings

4. Corporate firewall settings that do not allow executable file updates from the web.

Please check with your IT department to see if any of these issues apply. If there are still issues, contact

Hello

the problem may have been the pop-up blocker software.  I ran it again a day or so later and everything worked out alright.

Many thanks
