How do I place or fit the Performance Solutions Affiliate program into my website?

Overview:

You can place one of our banners on your site as the link to PerformanceSolutionsTech.com or you can just dispaly a text link to us directly from your main page, your "other links" page, or wherever you decide is appropriate at your site. Ultimately it’s your decision.

From a business perspective, we recommend that you link to us on your main page because of the exposure. For example, you could just have a ManagePro banner on your main page or you could have us listed in your main menu (if applicable). We recommend the main page because it has the highest exposure to your visitors, and of course, the more people that link to the Performance Solutions Technology website, the more people who buy our software and the more money you make. This will be explained in more detail when you receive your Welcome Package after signing up and being approved.  Here are a couple of other pointers for listing Performance Solutions Technology at your website.

 

Custom Inserts:

It often works best to insert a link with a transition paragraph within the body of text on your site.  For example, if you are describing your services or products in the area of people management, you may want to enter a sentence with the link as follows:

"In addition to the consulting services we offer, please consider the product ManagePro as a management system/software tool.  It provides a number of easy-to-use tools to help teams manage goals, projects and information, and you can find it at <our link provided to you (performancesolutionstech.com)>."

 

Placing our banner(s) on your site:

This is the most common and easiest way to earn referral fees. Simply place a ManagePro banner on your website pages with the highest amount of traffic for visitors to click on (banners are supplied with our Welcome Package that is emailed to you after you have applied for the Associates Program).

 

Topically-oriented website:

Most websites, especially those that focus on a particular subject area, will want to set up a link from their main page used specifically to link to PerformanceSolutionsTech.com. In other words, with your selections on your main page (main menu), you would have Performance Solutions Technology or ManagePro Software as an option. It would look as if PerformanceSolutionsTech.com is part of your website, but it is really going to our server.

 

Magazine-styled site:

Sites featuring articles, reviews and interviews may want to use a different approach. We make available our articles and case examples to other sites for the purpose of linking. The article provides an automatic link with the insertion of a phrase like "(more information about this product)" or "(order this course)", next to the title, and link from there instead.

For this kind of website, a "suggested reading" list might also be a good idea. For example, suppose that you include an article on people, project or knowledge management. You might include a "suggested reading" list at the end of the article, including a link to PerformanceSolutionsTech.com.

 

How will the visitors coming over from my site order?

Overview:

Simply stated, you link to Performance Solutions Technology website. In turn, we'll run everything for you by recording, processing and fulfilling your customer orders.  Your visitors will visit your website and when they click on the link to the Performance Solutions Technology web-page you present to them, they will be transferred to our website.  They order software by using our online ordering process, calling our sales line, or by faxing or mailing in their order.

 

They either download the product or receive them by shipment directly from Performance Solutions Technology, LLC.  It is all hands free. We do all the work and you receive the commission check from PerformanceSolutionsTech.com.

 

Will Performance Solutions Technology supply me with product descriptions; reviews or scans of cover art?

Yes. Software images and reviews are available. However, we do recommend that you try linking to us by direct text links or banner links before you introduce reviews or interviews with the author at your website. Our research shows this works better initially.

Can we take the order on our website instead, and just send you the customer information afterward?

No. We are solely responsible for developing and presenting our software and product updates, therefore we can update our site as necessary with new additions, new order processing options, price changes, etc. Performance Solutions Technology, LLC. cannot be responsible for any errors in your descriptions of these tips or products offered, by you not updating your pages as often as we do. We also offer a secure website, which is essential in collecting online orders.

 

How do you calculate referral fees?

Referral fees are earned on each sale:

Every order placed through your sponsoring website with Performance Solutions Technology, LLC.’s online order system, by phone, fax or mail is eligible for a referral fee. Referral fees are only earned on new license sales.  Your commission on all software sales starts at 20%, regardless if the users buys a new license or upgrades their existing software package. We pay 5% commission for all sub-referrals. The grids below define what to expect from sales of new licenses.

How will you keep track of the orders coming from my site?

 

We will provide you with special formatted URL's that you will use to link to our site. These URL's will identify a particular "Affiliate Number" for us to display, and your unique store code which we use to track your referral fees as they are earned.

This number is assigned to you after you apply for the affiliates program. Our custom designed software then hides that associate number in all forms of ordering the products. The associate’s number is hidden in the HTML code of the online order form.  For all phone orders, an extension number is displayed after our phone number on the site which is really your affiliate tracking number.  In more detail, when they come from a link on your site we pick up the cookie with your tracking number and display your tracking number as the extension to reach us at. When they ask us for the extension we know that it is really an affiliates tracking number and credit you with the sale.

 

What happens if someone visits PerformanceSolutionsTech.com through your link to our site and does not buy one of our products right away? If they return within 1 year to purchase a product and have not come directly from another affiliate site, you will still get credit for that sale and earn your referral fee as the cookie stays in place for 1 year.

How will I know how many of each product was sold by Performance Solutions Technology?

Once you join, we give you a special URL where you can view how many visitors have traveled from your site to PerformanceSolutionsTech.com and how many of each product were sold on a daily basis (including the customer's name and how they ordered). You will receive an email copy of each order moments after it is placed (for your records). You will receive your referral fee check on a monthly basis (we mail out checks within 15 days after the 1st of each month) provided you meet a minimum payoff of $100. Otherwise you will receive your checks quarterly.

 

How do I get my questions answered?

Once you are accepted, you will receive an email address to direct all of your questions. We usually turn around our email within 24 hours. You will also receive a monthly newsletter with tips on how to develop your referral business and case examples of what is working for others. We want to help you be successful!

Are there any limitations?

Yes, there are a few limitations, which get discussed further in the Operating Agreement. Basically, we don’t accept sites that display violent, sexual or objectionable material, and we don’t accept affiliates purchasing through their own link.
